Pizzas & Wines @ Jamie's Italian (VivoCity)

Jamie’s Italian at VivoCity now offers pizzas in their refreshed menu. The pizza dough is made fresh daily and shaped through gentle stretching which is the key to developing a crisp texture and crust. Pizzas are served on special stoneware plates which retain the heat and crispness of the pizza.

Margherita - $21
Crushed tomatoes, basil, mozzarella and extra virgin olive oil. Perfect for those who love a simple but satisfying classic. Tomatoes are pushed through a sieve(not blended) and culminates in a tangy tomato paste with remnants of fresh tomato bits.

Funghi Misti - $23.50
My favourite pizza of all would be the mushroom pizza which is only available at Jamie’s Italian VivoCity. The pizza is made with porcini mushroom sauce, roasted herby mushrooms (Oyster mushrooms & Paris mushrooms), mozzarella, chervil and tarragon. I love the generous portion of mushrooms and light mushroom sauce.

The selection of pizzas also includes Fiorentina and Courgette Pollo (not pictured here). In between bites of the baked to order pizzas, I had sips of the light and soft Guerrieri Rizzardi Prosecco which I found to complement the pizzas really well. So don't forget to get a glass to go with your pizza!

Also, a limited edition Thai-inspired Larb Gaai Pizza which won the Pizza Showdown has just made its debut. I heard it's super yummy! Apart from pizzas, dishes such as Chicken Milanese and Venetian Fish Stew have been added to the menu too. More reason to pop by!
