Lobsterfest at Lime(PARKROYAL on Pickering) - Free Flow Lobsters!

The highly anticipated Lobsterfest is back! In conjunction with SG50 last year, Lime dressed their Maine lobsters in more local flavours. This year, diners can look forward to a wider variety of Western-style lobsters. In addition to their usual spread of fresh seafood on ice, sashimi, Peranakan selection and dessert range, Lobsterfest brings you 10 droolworthy Maine lobster dishes.

I didn't try any of the seafood on ice, so I can't comment on them but the quality of the sashimi could definitely be better.

Salted egg dishes have been all the rage for awhile now and Lime has not forgotten about what Singaporeans love. The Golden Sand Lobster was a hot favourite, as expected.

The Lobster Mac & Cheese with Truffle Salsa stole my heart with its light creaminess and al dente pasta. Great flavours and very addictive!

The Lobster Thermidor with Persillade Crust received positive reviews from everyone too. I'm pretty sure you will go for seconds.

Another of my favourite would be the luscious and palatable Lobster with Truffled Hollandaise and Espelette.

While I enjoyed the richness of the Lobster Bisque Based Risotto with Mascarpone and Lobster Meat, the rice seemed to be a little undercooked, and too hard for my liking. The risotto is cooked on the spot so every batch is different so I could have been the unfortunate receiver of an undercooked batch.

Singapore Laksa with Lobster

Other Lobster dishes include Lobster Salad, Chilli Crab and Poached Lobster with Marie Rose Sauce. Don't forget to grab a few mantous to pair with the chilli crab gravy!

The very well-loved Matcha Fondue has also made a comeback, in a less sweet version. If you're a bread-lover like me, don't miss out on the soft bread rolls with tons of Echire butter!

Lobsterfest runs daily till 19th June and will be available every Wednesday and Thursday thereafter all the way till 1st December 2016. For $99++ (adult) or $59++ (child), you can indulge in unlimited servings of lobster and satiate any lobster craving. The buffet comes with a glass of their signature Limenade too. Do make your reservations prior to heading down to avoid having to queue for hours at the door!
