Goodbye, Alibi - New Cocktail Bar With Crazy Cocktails, Crazy Programming & $12 Happy Hour Cocktails

Goodbye, Alibi, which soft-launched in June 2025, finally debuts its official new menu featuring 14 signature cocktails with bold, unorthodox flavour combinations. Goodbye, Alibi was conceptualised with the enthusiastic drinker in mind — the one who looks for their third place where they can comfortably sip in silence or get rowdy with friends; and where they can sip their forever favourites or find the most daring drinks to excite their jaded palates. A brave concept built on a theme of secrecy, mystery, and curiosity, the bar aims to be a safe space for all communities to meet and gather, and focuses on unconventional community-building initiatives. Guests can also pen anonymous confessions and read the secrets left behind by others — an interactive and memorable experience.

The new menu? The perfect hat-tip to our drinkers. Though savoury sips remain a niche pleasure in general, Goodbye, Alibi goes all in with five different creations named cheekily after dating life :

  • Summer Fling in Bangkok ($25) : a refreshing highball style cocktail made with tequila, kaffir lime leaf, ginger, lemongrass, shallots, tomato, grapefruit, soda, lime, prawn

  • My Crazy Ex ($25) : Whisky, vinegar, soy caramel, ma la spices, citrus, soy crisp/vegetarian mock goose (not for the faint of heart)

  • Miso Broken ($25) : Vodka, pickled radish, wasabi, miso, citrus, roasted seaweed

  • Hang Flower, Hang-Over ($25) : Tequila, pickled chilli, fish sauce, citrus, mango foam, black sesame

  • Kill Me Softly ($27) : a spirit-forward martini style cocktail with gin, dry vermouth, katsuobushi, kombu, garlic brine, a quail egg

If savoury cocktails aren’t quite your thing, go for the

New Head Bartender
The brains behind the new menu is 31-year-old Tan Chok Han, who was the head bartender of award-winning The Elephant Room for 4 years. Han came onboard Goodbye, Alibi in July and has worked tirelessly on the new cocktail menu for 2 months, bringing the vision that he shares with 35-year-old owner, Kimberley Yeo, to life. Huge fans of savoury cocktails, they decided to incorporate at least 5 savoury concoctions into the new menu. Savoury cocktails are a huge risk, given that most palates would not be attuned to it, but the duo feels that their creations would make the cut.

The Space

Tucked away on the second floor of a heritage shophouse at 53A Duxton Road, Goodbye, Alibi is a 55-seater space that exudes both mystery and charm. From the street, its entrance is easy to miss—but those who step inside will discover a striking interior dressed in deep green hues, marble surfaces, and elegant gold accents, and one of the longest bar tops in Singapore. The pièce de résistance? A breathtaking two-story wall lined with an impressive collection of spirits, perfect for Instagram-worthy moments.

The venue also features a cozy mezzanine that accommodates up to 20 guests, making it an intimate yet versatile space for wedding after-parties, corporate gatherings, and cocktail-making workshops.

Happy Hour Menu With $12 Cocktails (No GST)
Launching a happy hour menu (Tuesday - Saturday : 4pm - 7pm) featuring five $12 Cocktails, $8 beer, and bar bites starting from $2.50 in Tanjong Pagar might seem like a crazy move as prices tend to be higher in this area due to higher rents and operating costs, and it reflects the “craziness” that fuels Goodbye, Alibi — crazy programming, crazy cocktails, crazy moves. Whisky lovers will find Liquid Courage a refreshing take on the usual whisky highball and gin fanatics can choose between Save Your Tears which comprises osmanthus, orange and tonic, or Stolen Kiss which is built with strawberry shrub, basil and lime. Need a perk-me-up? The Insomniac laced with coffee, will be right up your alley. Guests can also look forward to Fresh Oysters ($2.50/piece, no minimum purchase), Smoked Duck Taco ($7), Hotdog Bun ($10), and Truffle Fries ($10).

Classics Starting from $22

For fans of spirit-forward classics, the Solera Clay-Aged Negroni ($22) will be a standout. The team believes that classic cocktails, though packed with a higher alcohol content, shouldn’t warrant a higher price tag than their signature cocktails. Popular classics such as Old Fashioned are hence priced at $22.

Bespoke Cocktails

On top of their signature cocktails, and classics, the experienced team is capable of crafting bespoke cocktails. If none of the regular menu options catches your eye, simply share your preferred flavor profile with the experienced bartenders, and they will create something just for you. The possibilities are endless.

Tasty Bar Bites & Asian Inspired Flavours

While the drinks steal the spotlight, the food menu is not to be overlooked. Despite operating under stringent SFA regulations—which prohibit the use of an exhaust or even basic cooking techniques such as stir-frying of garlic and onion—Goodbye, Alibi has crafted an impressive selection of dishes that have quickly won over guests. You won’t go wrong with the appetite-whetting Salmon Sashimi Shoyuzuke ($22) which features fresh Norwegian salmon that has sat in a house-made marinade for more than 24 hours, and the amazingly addictive Crispy Garlic Pork ($16) which has a crunchy crust and a gentle but rich overtone of aromatic garlic. Even vampires might find it addictive, especially when paired with the accompanying spicy sauce!

Guests can also expect Asian-inspired Tacos such as Butter Chicken Tacos ($15/2 pieces) and Beef Rendang Tacos ($16/2 pieces) which feature meats that have been slow-cooked to perfection in a blend of spices, and a spicy Tom Yum Soft Shell Crab Pasta ($26) made with handmade mafalde(a pasta with distinctive wavy, ruffled edges) and a whole soft shell crab, finished off with a lavish sprinkle of parmigiano reggiano.

Unconventional Programming

Goodbye, Alibi champions the community through programs that include workshops and guided sessions designed to spark meaningful conversations on taboo topics.
