Becasse made it onto my list of places to visit after pictures and pictures of their signature milkshake invaded my instagram feed. And I was really excited about coming here, I think I said "Omg I can't wait" like twenty times before and after dinner haha

Salted Caramel & Toffee Popcorn Macaron Milkshake - $8
Armed with a dark turquoisey macaron and lined with turquoisey salt on the rim of the glass, this is a drink that made me think twice(I'm usually put off by odd-coloured food). But all my favourite things are in this cup of sinful happiness! This was pretty much divine. Smooth, rich, and sweet. It might be too sweet and rich for some and it might be hard to down this entire glass on your own. So I'd recommend this to be shared.

Salted Caramel & Chocolate Tart - $4.90
Supposedly one of the signature desserts at Becasse, the tart was disappointing. We found it to be lacking in both chocolate and caramel departments and it just didn't quite impress like we thought it would.

Rose & Lychee Macaron - $2
I was pleasantly surprised by how affordable the macaron is. I mean, it's a legit macaron from a big brand that is pretty well-made and substantially filled. And I had expected it to be more costly. But of course, I'm not complaining. Rose and lychee is certainly one of my favourite combinations of flavours and this wasn't fantastic but it wasn't too bad either.

Sticky Date Pancakes - $13
The highlight of the night has to be this pancake stack. I'm a sucker for butterscotch and perhaps I'm a little biased here, but this pancake stack doused in a slightly salty and warm butterscotch sauce won my heart almost instantly. Topped with a scoop of vanilla bean icecream and bananas, this was pretty much perfect for me. I found myself in pancake heaven. A crowd pleaser and favourite for sure!

Banoffee Waffles - $9
Knowing how much I like banoffee, my friend ordered this as his choice of waffles! Aww, I was secretly cheering haha. We adored the peanut crusted caramel icecream but felt that the waffle can be improved! Definitely one of the more pocket-friendly waffles out there though!

I like the setting and service at Becasse and I'll be back to try more things for sure ! Do share with me some of the must-tries if you've been there!
