238 Dog-Friendly Cafes & Restaurants in Singapore for a Pawfect Date

(edited)_9d979da7-f081-4e95-aac8-245f7f677b43

Dog owners are constantly looking for dog-friendly cafes and restaurants to take their precious furkids because we just want to bring our babies with us everywhere we go (myself included)!! So I've decided to compile the ultimate guide to dog-friendly/pet-friendly cafes and restaurants in Singapore! I believe this is the only guide you need so do bookmark it and check back often as it will be updated constantly. I can't keep track of all the changes that take place so while I strive to keep this list as accurate as possible, I'll advise you to make a reservation where possible, and give the eateries a call to double check! If you know of a dog-friendly venue that's not on this list, please let me know! Do also share with me your favourite dog-friendly places, and the best dog-friendly cafes or restaurants in your opinion!

Da Paolo Gastronomia - Quintessential Italian Favourites for a Dazzling Christmas Feast

da_paolo_singapore_christmas

Christmas has always been my favourite holiday because of all the wonderful roasts and bakes that I get to indulge in! While we might not be able to dine out with our extended families or entire friend group this season, we can still have cosy intimate feasts at home, especially with Da Paolo Gastronomia who has really stepped up their game this festive season with a slew of stunning holiday favourites and gift options that will add sparkle to every party. With a little less than 2 weeks to our favourite holiday season, it might be a tad daunting to put together a smashing party but Da Paolo Gastronomia is here to take care of everything. Leave it to the professionals, they say; and you can definitely trust Da Paolo Gastronomia.

Botanico at The Garage - New Chef, New Locally-Inspired Creations

 photo Botanico botanics dinner 8.jpg
Ever since Botanico opened its doors, it has been on my list of recommended places to go. Set amidst lush greenery, the restaurant is perfect for romantic dates, intimate family dinners, and those who just want to kick back and relax over cocktails and wine. With a new chef at its helm, Botanico has moved towards a more locally-inspired menu that is heavily influenced by Asian flavours, and built with botanical elements. The outstanding Seabass Ceviche($17), which is Chef Su's interpretation of Assam Laksa, left a really deep impression. Diced seabass is brilliantly put together with tamarind-dressed glass noodles, and a scoop of shrimp paste icecream. If there's only one dish that you can have from the menu, this has to be it. I promise that you'll fall in love with it on the very first bite

(CLOSED)Catfeine - The New Kid in Bukit Timah (The Hillford)

 photo Catfeine Bukit Timah 6.jpg
Bukit Timah is home to many cafes and the charming neighbourhood has no lack of F&B options. Joining the party is Catfeine, a relatively new cafe sitting at the corner of the commercial stretch of The Hillford. An abundance of natural light streams into the simply-decorated space. You will notice a snug little corner dedicated to books and feline plushies (truly living up to the CAT in Catfeine).

Botanico at The Garage - A Treasure Nestled in Singapore's First UNESCO World Heritage Site

photo Botanico The Garage Singapore Botanics Garden 11.jpg
Built in 1927, The Garage was the home of the cars of college professors and their drivers. With its name and structure preserved, The UNESCO World Heritage Site is now the proud home of two F&B concepts. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of city life, The Garage provides a respite for those who crave a quick getaway.

(CLOSED) All Day Brunch & Croffles @ Costa Coffee (Holland Village)

photo Costa Coffee 269 Holland Village.jpg
Costa 269, the latest Costa Coffee outlet in Singapore, occupies a prominent spot in Holland Village. Costa269 is the only Costa Coffee outlet in Singapore that has a hot kitchen, and the only one that is serving all-day brunch. The wholesome brunch menu is just two weeks old, but has already received pretty good reviews. Diners can look forward to classic breakfast favourites, prepared with the freshest ingredients, made fresh-on-demand. If you prefer breakfast with a view, do grab a seat by the windows on the second level.

Atlas Coffeehouse @ Duke's Road

 photo atlascoffeehouse3.jpg
The good people behind my favourite coffee haunt, Assembly Coffee, has opened up Atlas in a more accessible spot in Bukit Timah. With an expanded menu and a bigger space, I wasn't the least bit surprised to find Atlas packed to the brim as I walked in on their second day of operation.

鶏金Torikin @ Bukit Timah Road

 photo DSC04688.jpg
Established in November 2014, Torikin is one of a few unique Japanese restaurants in Singapore that offers Kyushu cuisine. Kyushu is considered an "undiscovered gem" by tourists and is known not only for its rich history and beautiful scenery but its amazing food as well. Kyushu cuisine is described to be hearty and homely yet refined and full of flavour. I just had to try it!

Torikin is located at the corner of Crown Centre, at the junction of King's Road and busy Bukit Timah Road. The restaurant is segmented into four areas which you may pick according to your fancy (subject to availability): alfresco, booth tables, horigotatsu-styled (sunken areas beneath the dining tables) rooms and the sushi & bar counter.

Rise & Grind Coffee Co

 photo P5244896.jpg
The new kid in the Bukit Timah neighbourhood, Rise & Grind has been drawing a great amount of attention to the very old Bukit Timah Plaza. There's hardly any reason for me to go there except for some late night pool but Rise & Grind is almost reason enough for me to make a trip there specially. Because, that Tom Yum Pasta.

Ah B Cafe & Pawlicious

 photo P4124017.jpg
HAPPY FIFTH BIRTHDAY TO MY ONE TRUE LOVE AND THE LOVE OF MY LIFE!!! Waffles the Maltese (IG @ wafflesthemaltese) just turned five and we held a birthday party for him, as usual. We pick a new dog cafe to go to every year and this year we've decided to pop by Ah B Cafe at Sunny Heights! Sunny Heights used to be K9 Kulture where I worked as a dog handler for about 10 months. It's essentially a dog daycare plus boarding place where there's a pool for your pooches too!

The Missing Pan is a popular brunch spot and the snaking queue for brunch on weekends proves how famous their sous vide eggs and French toast are. Just a week ago, The Missing Pan introduced a brand new menu that boasts of delicious fare that absolutely calls for a dinner visit. And may I advise that you pop by soon, before the place gets too crowded to even score a reservation!

I've been to PasarBella quite a couple of times and have always walked past Oceans of Seafood but have never actually dined here. And I'm finally here to witness the cutting of the huge Northern Blue Fin Tuna! I was really excited, akin to a little kid waiting to open her Christmas presents!

Assembly Coffee

 photo P4064614.jpg
I remember visiting Evans Lodge years ago, for brunch at Hatched. Then, Evans Lodge was a quiet and serene place. And now, it's bustling with a constant stream of people flocking to Assembly Coffee. I, too, was dying to try their much raved about waffles and decided to pop by on a Sunday
