My second trip to Taiwan presented me with the opportunity to visit Fengjia Night Market in Tai Chung. Fengjia is the largest night market in Taiwan and it has so much to offer in terms of food and shopping. Our cab driver told us what to eat at Fengjia Night Market and where the stalls are so we managed to locate them with ease. While we tried far too much food for our own good, some were really disappointing so we have compiled this list of food that we deemed worthy of your time and money.

26-year-old Grand Hyatt Taipei is Taipei's first 5-star hotel. The 27-storey luxury hotel has 853 rooms and 9 restaurants and bars. The hotel is almost linked by an overhead bridge to the iconic Taipei 101 and is just a short walk away from the Taipei International Convention Centre. Its location is impeccable, making it a natural hotel choice for tourists and business travellers alike. The elegant hotel has just gone through a $100 million makeover last year, and plans to refurbish the restaurants are in the works.

THE LIN in Taichung is undoubtedly one of the most luxurious hotels that I've ever stayed in. Upon arriving at the 5-star hotel, I was greeted by the sight of eight Lamborghinis parked right in front of the hotel. I asked the doorman if there was a car show or something but he said the cars belonged to guests who were staying at the hotel. I should have known then, what I was getting myself into.

This is almost a year late but better late than never right! Haha. X and I went to Taipei last summer right after we got back from Europe. We almost didn't have time to pack and were somewhat jetlagged haha. But anyway, we were there for two weeks and we went to quite a number of cafes and eateries worth mentioning(will be coming up in another post) and it was a really fruitful holiday!
Here's sharing with you 9 of the cafes that we adore
My camera died on the trip so a part of our holiday wasn't documented unfortunately.
But nonetheless, here you go!
