Now, after you've booked those air tickets for you and your pup out of the country, it's time to start looking at accommodation options! Here's a list of dog-friendly hotels and airbnbs that we stayed at in Europe! The highlighted ones are really good, and the rest are at least, decent! We did not include the ones that we did not fancy, and we also want to take this opportunity to thank our friends who hosted us! 

I would say that all hotels, except the ones in Greece and those under the Petit Palace group, charge a pet fee that ranges from 8 euros - 35 euros (sometimes per night, sometimes per stay). Airbnbs typically do not charge an extra fee for pets, but I do recall the airbnb in Bilbao charging us an additional 5 euros per day that we had to pay in cash.

Namaiki - New Japanese Omakase Restaurant in Soho(London)

I heard about the opening of Namaiki, a new sushi omakase restaurant in Soho, and was really excited to try it out. After being away from Singapore and travelling in Europe for 7 months, and not having any sushi at all, I kinda felt that my best bet at having decent sushi would be in London. I made a reservation a few weeks in advance for their lunch omakase on 31st Jan via their instagram page after knowing that the chef at the helm is from Japan.

 

Hôtel Bastille Spéria - Best Dog-Friendly Hotel in Marais, Paris (Very Near Bastille Metro Station)

Paris is full of dog-friendly hotels, but few check all of these 3 important boxes : affordable, well-located, and modern. If these 3 factors are as important to you as they are to me, you will definitely be pleased with Hotel Bastille Spéria which is an outstanding hotel in Marais(4th arrondissement). The trendy Marais district is interspersed with museums and art galleries, chic boutiques, and tons of great restaurants. Just a 5-minute walk from Bastille Metro Station, Hotel Bastille Spéria is the closest hotel to Place de la Bastille. The lovely property sits on the corner of the quieter Rue de la Bastille, right next to the main road, and is unmissable.

Mykonos Soul Suites (Review) - The Best Dog-Friendly Hotel in Mykonos is Ultra Luxurious



Mykonos Soul Suites in Mykonos quite frankly took my breath away. It is, no doubt, one of the best hotels that I've stayed at in my entire life. I knew I was in for a treat before I got there, but I did not expect to be swept off my feet the moment I stepped into the luxurious property! It was just truly remarkable. Best part? It's exceptionally dog-friendly! So, if you're planning a vacation to Mykonos with your pup, look no further, because you won't find a dog-friendly hotel better than Mykonos Soul Suites.

Red House Seafood - Best Pen Cai for a Prosperous & Auspicious Chinese New Year 2022!

 

Longstanding Red House Seafood is one of the oldest seafood restaurants in Singapore, and it's no surprise at all. Consistently sending out the tastiest seafood dishes crafted by old master chefs, the restaurant, which currently has 3 outlets, is always a hot spot for an amazing dinner, and intimate reunion feasts. The outlet at Grand Copthorne is the prettiest one of all, and is also a popular venue for wedding banquets. My family used to go to Red House Seafood alot when I was a kid, but as I grew up, we had fewer dinners together and haven't been back in awhile. After trying a few highlights from the Chinese New Year menu at Red House, I immediately told my family that we are heading back here for CNY!

Binary - New Restaurant at Palais Renaissance With One of the Best Breads & Cocktails in Singapore

The binary star appears as a single star but is in actual fact 2 stars that are so close to each other that they seem to shine as one. Inspired by the binary Star, Binary showcases Western and Asian dishes side by side and allows them to shine even brighter in complementary fashion. In addition, the restaurant occupies a prominent space at 01-01 of Palais Renaissance, echoing the binary code of 0 and 1. You have to agree that the restaurant can't be anymore aptly named! Opened by the same group that manages big names such as Sushi Kimura, Binary seems enroute to become one of the most popular kids in Orchard. Rocking a full house on a Monday evening, the casual restaurant boasts a straightforward menu of star ingredients presented in both Western and Asian style. So, even though the menu looks lean, you're looking at double the number of dishes available due to 2 cooking styles offered for each key ingredient. 

Oriole Coffee - Truffle Pizza, Truffle Ravioli, Truffle Scrambled Egg Burger & Delightful Christmas Drinks in Orchard!

 

In anticipation of the holiday season, Oriole Coffee at Pan Pacific Serviced Suites in Orchard has come up with a few trufflelicious dishes and delightful festive drinks! The reasonably-priced festive highlights are available from now till 28 February. And, if you're a self-proclaimed truffle lover, you should most definitely schedule a visit!

I have been going to Oriole Coffee since 2008. I remember always getting their beef cheek tagliatelle or fish and cheeks! Their Taisho cold brew is my go-to whenever I need a caffeine fix in town. 13 years old, and still going strong, that must say something about this joint that withstood the test of time.
